The Kunstfiliale Passage offers everything a Kulturstadt requires: an opera, a (Volks) theatre, two museums, galleries, cafés, restaurants and a dynamic independent cultural scene. Welcome to the historic centre of cultural activity in Neukölln. Enjoy the streets and cosy courtyards along the Karl-Marx-Straße. The central "Infopunkt" for the festival is also located here, in the Passage.

KulturTatort Schillerkiez

KulturTatort Schillerkiez presents itself with a multi-facetted cultural programme. Tatort signs will lead the audience to specific scenes of artistic activity. Interested culture scouts can set off in search of clues to solving the Schiller Code. Submission of the right answers will be rewarded with a small prize as long as the supply lasts. On Saturday at 2 pm, the Grenzgänger (border crossers) will take punters around the neighbourhood around the church. A family-friendly atmosphere with lots of activities to take part in as well as all the information you need about 48 Stunden.

Kunstfiliale (Art Branch Office) Richardkiez

We Transform Neukölln

Empty shops will be transformed into art spaces; empty streets will become art paths and peaceful public squares become places for parties. Residents will revamp themselves, becoming creative, active participants in an array of events. And the visitors? For 48 hours, one can meander through the creative variety on offer and even, if one is inclined, take an active role in events.

Kunstfiliale Reuterkiez

Sieben Leben (Seven Lives)

(In German, the phrase "seven lives" is analogous to "nine lives" in English)

In seven steps, proceed from humus to the kunstreuter, perhaps the other way around? How robust is art? How much strain can an artist stand? How does one reach Nirvana or the end of art? Artists in the Reuterkiez neighbourhood will thoroughly or light-heartedly explore this issue. A concentrated cluster effervesces here this year in a quantity of sounds, colours and languages.

Kunstfiliale Körnerkiez

Follow the Green Man along the grass-shoe trail

Körnerkiez is a seedbed where fascinating new cultural hybrids are germinating and spreading their shoots. In a state of constant becoming, boundaries are porous as creative seeds fertilise once abandoned spaces. Their root systems are living networks, binding and stabilising, holding the cultural soil in place. Take to the grass-shoe trail for 48 hours and experience creative erosion control.
